Communication is the cornerstone to any health practice. As such, this college health studies certificate programme will focus on enhancing the communication skills necessary for developing professional relationships within the workplace. As you refine your English language skills, you will also learn key health concepts and the health terminology used within Canadian health care settings.

The programme will enable you to continue into the professional health program of your choice within the School of Community and Health Studies (if you meet all the requirements for admission into that programme).

Programme Highlights

The Health Studies and Communications Skills progamme from Centennial College will emphasize developing the reading, writing, listening and speaking skills needed to work in a health care setting.

Small class sizes will allow for greater interaction with faculty members, who come from English and health care backgrounds.
