Overview
At the Welsh and the Celtic Languages course offered by Aberystwyth University you don't need to be able to speak any of these languages before starting the course. You will also be able to choose from a collection of linguistic and literary modules, and you will get the chance to spend a semester abroad in Ireland or Brittany. By choosing this course you will gain a thorough understanding of the Celtic languages and their literatures (past and present) together with an appreciation of their cultural and creative dynamics.
