Whether studying a Bachelors or a Masters, all international students are eligible for their International Accommodation Award.
Benefits
This award means that for students who choose to live in their on-campus Cwrt Mawr housing, there is no cost for the first year of study.
Eligibility
- This housing scholarship is available for the first year of study for students enrolled on a 3-year or 4-year Bachelor’s degree. Master’s students and PhD students may also be eligible for their first year, subject to specific terms and conditions.

Once you receive a conditional or unconditional offer for your place of study at Aberystwyth University, you will be asked to accept the offer (either through UCAS or by email from our admissions teams).
For most students, once you have accepted your offer, you will be emailed information about how to register for the Accommodation Portal and how to apply for your room.
Some students will be asked to accept their offer and pay their tuition fee deposit before accessing the Accommodation Portal.
Some PhD students may be eligible for the International Accommodation Award.
