Overview
The Biomedical Engineering program at King's College London has been designed to train the next generation of biomedical engineers working in healthcare research and development. The practice of medicine is being transformed by the increasing role of engineering, physics, mathematics, and computer science.
This four- year course will position you at the forefront of these developments and will provide you with an understanding of the most fundamental principles of engineering applied to healthcare and a foundation in mathematics, human anatomy, and physiology.

Employability
Biomedical engineers can work in various areas including robotics; regenerative medicine; wearable technology; drug delivery mechanisms; and 3-D printing. STEM degrees are also considered useful by employers in a number of sectors including consultancy. Graduates may also choose to progress to a masters or doctoral degree specialising in medical engineering or medical physics, or progress to a medical degree.Programme Structure
