Overview
The Mathematics with Management and Finance with Year in Industry program at King's College London is designed for students who want to study mathematics at degree level, but who also plan to work in a managerial role, especially in the financial sector.
The mathematical part of the course will give you a foundation in all branches of mathematics, including algebra, analysis, statistics, geometry, probability and number theory. As you progress through the course you will focus more on topics which are specifically relevant to financial mathematics.

General requirements
- Required subjects: A-level (or equivalent) grade A*A in Mathematics and Further Mathematics (in any order)
- A-Levels: A*AA. Please note that A-level General Studies, Critical Thinking, Thinking Skills and Global Perspectives are not accepted by King's as one of your A levels. Must include grades A*A in Mathematics and Further Mathematics (in any order).
- Contextual A-Level information: AAB. Must include grades AA in Mathematics and Further Mathematics (in any order). If you are not studying Further Mathematics, an AS Level grade A in Further Mathematics can be considered instead, only if you additionally achieve/have achieved a grade 3 in any STEP paper or a Merit in AEA Mathematics.
International Baccalaureate
- 38 points overall or an aggregate score of 19 from three Higher Levels.
- Must include grade 7 in Higher Level Mathematics.
