Overview
With this Popular Music Performance and Event Management (Hons) from BIMM University, day to day learning will be in large live rooms, smaller studio sessions and seminar-based classrooms, with interactive and engaging classes that give you the chance to showcase your skills and apply what you have learnt in a safe and supportive environment.
Subject modules will feature core elements of performance and event management, as well as the roles, responsibilities and processes which connect them. You’ll learn the key skills and strategies to effectively create, plan and produce your own event as well as developing your performance, technique, arranging and musicianship. You will evaluate international tours and large-scale music festivals, whilst also exploring the growing issue of sustainability.
Progression
Graduates can progress directly to employment as a booking agent, promoter, artist managers, tour managers, technical event production and artist liaison.
It also allows for more digital career destinations in music and event marketing.

- Successful completion of a BIMM admissions assessment.
- Minimum of 2 A-levels at Grade C or above (64 UCAS points), OR BTEC Level 3 equivalent, and normally three GCSEs at a minimum grade C/4, including English Language.
- IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 to be achieved in each band.
