Throughout this Coding Skills , Associate Degree (AD) from University of the Fraser Valley you'll complete five advanced software development courses. You'll tackle subjects such as algorithm design, software engineering, and coding best practices. One of your courses will be a three-credit field practicum experience. General requirements

Seats in the Coding Skills associate certificate are limited and entry is competitive. Applicants must have the following to be considered for admission to the program:

Entrance requirements for all CIS programs.
Successful completion of the diploma in CIS at UFV or equivalent.
COMP 251 with a grade of B or better.
A completed portfolio (see How to apply below).
Official transcripts (or interim transcripts) from all post-secondary institutions attended showing grade/course achievement as per entrance requirements. To be considered official, transcripts must be sent directly to UFV from the originating institution; see the Transfer Credit section for details.
