The Fitness and Health Promotion course from Centennial College is a two-year health diploma programme that will include:

- In addition to this combination of topics, you'll have the opportunity to gain the skills necessary to, after graduation, become a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) according to the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology and a Registered Health and Exercise Practitioner (RHEP) according to the Ontario Fitness Council (OFC) requirements.
- The OFC RHEP includes a scope of practice for three separate disciplines: Group Exercise, Personal Trainer, and Older Adult Trainer.
- You'll also learn course material related to the canfitpro Personal Training Specialist (PTS) certification and have an opportunity to receive this certificate in the programme.
- Lastly, you will have access to a unique mental health certification called the Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) offered by Health Out Loud, a Toronto-based charity.
