The gradual transformation of cities into giant cities in our country and the need of these giant cities for all kinds of civil engineering structures (high-rise buildings, bridges, engineering structures, highways, dams, thermal and nuclear power plants, drinking water and sewage lines, historical buildings, etc.) and the need for these structures. earthquake, flood, wind, landslide etc. The need for qualified civil engineering is increasing day by day during the design, implementation and control of the hazards taking into account the reality. 

All disasters experienced in the geography where Turkey is located (earthquake, flood, flood, landslide, storm, terrorism, etc.), rapidly increasing population, migration to cities and the constant creation of new settlement areas, renewal of existing settlement areas and urban transformation projects, engineering structures. Rapid developments in the application of new methods and technologies, increasing building stock and increasing number of high-rise buildings are rapidly increasing the problems in the field of civil engineering.
