The Lazaridis School operates the largest business degree co-op program in the country. Students are encouraged to explore different career options and gain valuable employment experience before they graduate.
Our Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics and Accounting program is CPA-accredited and gives a career advantage to students looking to become an accountant. Unlike most programs in accounting, this one prepares you to understand business and government issues in a data-driven economy at the macro level. The Economics and Accounting program is offered by the Wilfrid Laurier University .

General requirements
- A minimum GPA of 7.00 (B-) in Economics and Business courses and a minimum overall GPA of 6.00 (C+) with no individual course grade less than 4.00 (C-).
- Completion of a minimum of 10 courses (5.0 credits) in the WLIC UTP program, including the required courses EC120, EC140, MA103, BU111, and BU127. Students will be advised on course selection based on their intended major.
