The Geocomputing Major is offered by Mount Allison University. Geocomputing offers a unique way to combine geographical and environmental skills with training in computer science.

The program gives students expertise to study and understand spatial dimensions of social and environmental problems such as minimizing environmental impacts and identifying critical habitat. At Mount Allison, Geocomputing combines theory and practice of computing and geography, offering students a new way to look at the world. Students in Geocomputing take courses in computer science, environmental science, and environmental studies, with spatial computing (geographic information systems) at the heart.

Regular admission: To be considered for admission, a minimum final grade of 65% or the equivalent is required in all university-preparatory courses reviewed.
High school student, IB certificate(s)/advanced placement (AP) student
All 4U and 4M level courses are accepted as university-preparatory courses.

Official transcripts: To be considered 'official,' transcripts must be forwarded directly to Mount Allison's registrar's office by the issuing institution. Please note that notarized English translations of required documents should be included if applicable
Students must complete a university-preparatory English language program at one of Mount Allison’s partner language training institutes or provide sufficient proof of English language proficiency before of full offer of admission will be granted.
