Overview
In the Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science multidisciplinary degree from the Aix-Marseille University, the student must build up an in-depth understanding of the sciences beyond a familiarity with solving exercises or problems.
These subjects are seen as fundamental sciences and not technological. For example, physics will be taught as in a Physics-Chemistry course in high school and not as in an Engineering Sciences course.
The four subjects are taught as for future specialists in the field. There are no secondary subjects, so you have to really want to study these four subjects. For example, mathematics will be taught as for future specialists in mathematics (pure or applied) and not as a tool to solve problems from other sciences.
- In the first year: 4 compulsory subjects. Some subjects may be reinforced according to the specialities followed in high school.
- In the second year: 3 to 4 subjects according to the student's wishes
- In the third year: 2 to 3 subjects according to the student's wishes
