Overview
The Science and Technology degree from the Aix-Marseille University also develops cultural knowledge, artistic sense, adaptability and teamwork skills, and is based on a project-based teaching method. The course begins with a common core with the first two years of the SPI (Sciences Pour l'Ingénieur) degree and allows students to acquire a solid scientific foundation in the fields of applied sciences. The third year is built on a specialisation in image and sound professions through the realisation of audiovisual projects.
Students participate in professional activities in a broad audiovisual field, in the areas of production, direction and audiovisual techniques.They acquire skills in the scientific, artistic, technical and organisational fields of audiovisual production.
At the same time, they develop interpersonal skills, an ability to adapt and a sense of teamwork, particularly through practical work and internships in companies.

- Admission in the course of the curriculum (L3) : Admissibility on file and registration; admission on interview and QCM, for students who have validated a Bac+2 in a wide range of courses offered by the University (physics, law, management, literature, musicology, plastic arts, performing arts…), by the Ministry of Culture or for students from technological courses (BTS, DUT) who feel the need to perfect their knowledge through practice and to carry out a theoretical reflection on the history and aesthetics of cinema.
