The Computer Science program from Algoma University values and encourages creativity and innovation. Also, this program has 3 different specialisations: Computer Game Technology, Computer game Technology and Creative Arts and Mobile Software Engineering.

Students are given the opportunity to create new designs and explore their creative and unique ideas with faculty who are excited and equipped to guide students in the process of exploration.

Our students explore how Computer Science reaches far beyond theory and practice, driving innovation in the sciences, with examples such as the Human Genome Project and AIDs vaccine research, and leading developments in engineering, business, entertainment, and education. General requirements

International applications are individually assessed on country-specific criteria.

In general, we are looking for 5-6 traditional academic courses in the final year of senior secondary including English. Other course requirements will apply for certain programs.

A minimum average of 65%/70% or country-specific equivalent

For BCOSC: ENG4U, MHF4U, 1 other U/M Math

For BSc: ENG4U, MHF4U,2 other U/M Sciences (Physics & Chemistry recommended)
