Origins of the Rural Pre-Medicine from Selkirk College
RPM was created to increase the number of rural and Indigenous students pursuing careers in professional health. The program launched in 2014 with support from the Joint Standing Committee on Rural Issues, a committee comprised of Doctors of BC and the Ministry of Health. The curriculum in RPM is designed with collaboration from health organizations, medical professionals and Selkirk College faculty.Programme Structure
