Economics plays a part in every aspect of modern life, investigating the choices of consumers and corporations, groups and governments, networks and nations. It uses scientific methods to develop theoretical models of behaviour and markets, institutions and public policy. Germany is the leading economy in the EU, making the joint study of economics and German language and culture a powerful combination.

In this joint German and Economics degree at the University of Warwick you will spend half of your time in the School of Modern Languages and Cultures and the other in the Department of Economics. You will normally spend your second or third year abroad, consolidating and enhancing your learning.

You will also need grade 7/A in GCSE Mathematics and grade 6/B in GCSE English Language.

B typical offer

34 to include 5 in a modern or classical language at IB Higher Level.
You will also need grade 7/A in GCSE Mathematics or International Baccalaureate grade 5 in Higher Level/6 in Standard Level Mathematics.
