Description
This scholarship is funded through the generosity of Warwick alumni and friends in Singapore, through the Friends of the University of Warwick in Singapore Trust.
Every three years, the Trustees will award a scholarship to outstanding, academically-able undergraduate students from Singapore who are financially-disadvantaged.
Benefits
The scholarship supports a maximum of three years of undergraduate study, and will cover tuition and other compulsory fees. Scholarship recipients benefit from funding that covers full tuition fees plus an additional annual living bursary of £10,234 GBP.
Eligibility
A scholarship will be offered to Singaporean nationals and Permanent Residents who:
- Are of the first generation in their family to attend higher education; and are able to demonstrate that:
- They are financially-disadvantaged (gross family income of less than $6,000 per month, or per capita income not exceeding $1500 per month); or
- They are on financial assistance at their current school or from the Ministry of Education Financial Assistance Scheme or Independent School Bursary
