Overview
A graduate of the Technology and Management in Civil Engineering programme from The Technical University of Kosice (TUKE) has knowledge in the field of design, preparation and construction of architectural, civil engineering and water engineering structures, taking into account the wider societal, economic and environmental contexts of structural, material and technological solutions of constructions, including the technology of production of building materials and products.
It develops theoretical knowledge in the field of occupational safety, environmental protection and economic efficiency of construction activity.
Learning outcomes
As for complementary knowledge, abilities and skills, a graduate of the study programme:
- has the ability to work effectively as a team member or assistant to managers,
- can interpret broader questions of a socio-economic and ethical nature,
- can communicate in at least one world language,
- developed educational skills will enable him to organize his own further education and professional development,
- is able to actively interpret and apply construction business practice legislation in accordance with generally accepted moral and ethical principles,
- understands the professional need for continuous further professional education.

General requirements
- a completed application for university studies of the first level
- a certified copy of the completed secondary education with a certified translation into the Slovak language
- the decision on recognition of completed education (validation) issued by the Regional Office Košice, Department of Education, Zádielska 1, 040 33 Košice
- a certified copy of the transcript of records covering all the years of secondary education with a certified translation into Slovak. If the length of secondary education studies exceeds four years then a certified copy of transcript of records covering the last four years of study at secondary school is required
- Curriculum Vitae in Slovak (or English, according to the language in which the applicant will study) signed by the applicant
- a copy of passport
- a proof of payment of the handling fee for the admission procedure (can be submitted to the Study department no later than the date of enrolment)
