Universities in Košice
The University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice is the only institution in the Slovak Republic providing veterinary education in accredited study programmes of all three levels of higher education. The UVMP has more than 25-year tradition of providing study programmes in English language to the students from all around the world.
Established in 1940, the Bratislava University of Economics and Business (EUBA) is the 3rd oldest university in Slovakia and the leading public research university, internationally recognized in the field of Economics, Business and Management. It offers wide range of study programs on all levels of study. Quality driven education is closely connected to businesses and highly internationalized.
At present the University has five faculties – Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Public Administration and Faculty of Arts – which prepare physicians and dentists, experts in natural sciences, mathematics and informatics, teachers, lawyers, specialists for public administration and specialists for psychology, philosophy and theory of communication.
The University of Security Management in Košice is devoted to the higher education of experts for practice on a wide scale, with a concentration on knowledge in the fields of law, security sciences, economics, technical sciences, logistics, environmental studies and other areas.
