Overview
The field of Consumer Studies integrates various disciplines in pure and applied sciences such as Economics and Consumer Behaviour, Management, Marketing, Science and Technology, Socio-psychology, Communication and Law. The Consumer Studies with Honours programme from University Putra Malaysia equips students with knowledge and skills in aspects of consumerism so that they can become intermediaries between producers, consumers and policy makers.

General requirements
- Pass in the STPM Examination with at least: CGPA 2.00 and at least grade C (GP 2.00) in General Studies; and grade C (GP 2.00) in two other subjects; or
- Matriculation/Foundation Minimum Qualification
- Pass in the Matriculation/ Foundation Examination with at least CGPA 2.00; or
- Diploma or its equivalent
- Diploma in appropriate field or other qualification which is approved by the UPM Senate; and
- At least Band 1 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
- Specific Programme Requirements
- STPM Minimum Qualification
- A minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in two of the following subjects at STPM level: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics (M)/ Mathematics (T), Economics, Accounting, Geography, History, Business Studies, Usuluddin, Syariah, Sport Science, Information and Communication Technology (ICT);
