Overview
Software Engineering Technology (Optional Co-op) is offered at Conestoga College . As one of the strongest programmes of its type in Ontario, its focused, hands-on approach will let you learn a broad base of languages and technologies, including web development, databases, business intelligence, and cybersecurity. The optional sixteen-month co-op (apply after Year 1) provides valuable work experience. The flexible third year provides you with the ability to select programme options to enhance your skills.

- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or 19 years of age or older with mature student status (See Mature Student definition for details.)
- Grade 12 compulsory English, C or U, or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Communications (COMM1250)
- Grade 12 Mathematics, C or U (MCT4C or MHF4U or MCV4U or MDM4U), or equivalent, or Conestoga College Preparatory Mathematics for Technology & Apprenticeship (MATH1385)
- English Proficiency
- Applicants with MAP4C will not be considered for admission to this program. They may be considered after writing the Conestoga College Math Pre-Admissions test. Minimum grade cut-offs apply

Technological requirements
- All students entering this program must:
- have a laptop computer that meets minimum specified requirements
- Discrete graphics card optional in years 1 and 2.
- Discrete graphics card required for SENG3040 in year 3.
- This program has established that a Windows-based PC is required. Mac or Apple products are not suitable for this program.
