Overview

The Business - Marketing (Co-op) Graduate Diploma delivered at Fanshawe College covers customer analysis, segmentation and targeting; integrated marketing communications; pricing and distribution strategies; and product and service development and management.

Experiential learning includes market research studies, advertising campaigns, sales and business plans, many providing opportunities to work with live clients. You’ll also learn to use current software, including presentation, spreadsheet, graphic design and publishing applications.

Video Game Business Development Associate - develop new relationships and business connections, write sales proposals and project overviews and represent the company at industry events all over the world.
Marketing and Advertising - build on the company’s online presence and implement advertising campaigns to expand the business.
Territory Sales Rep - sell and deliver a large volume of product in compliance with specific customer agreements while meeting monthly sales quotas.

General requirements

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or a mature applicant with the following courses:

- Grade 12 English (C or U)

- Grade 11 Math (C, U or M - minimum of 60%), or Grade 12 Math (C or U)

Students who do not meet the admission requirements are recommended for academic upgrading. A conditional offer may be possible with proof of enrolment. Alternatively, applicants missing the required courses may want to consider our one-year Business Fundamentals preparatory program. Upon graduation, students can enter level 2 of any business diploma program in the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business.

Note:

Graduates of Business - Marketing may choose to transfer into Fanshawe's Business Administration - Marketing Advanced Diploma or the Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Digital Marketing) Degree program after completing the bridging requirements.
