Overview
The Business - Insurance (Co-op) Graduate Diploma from Fanshawe College will teach you the fundamentals of insurance and you’ll study underwriting, claims investigation, risk analysis and contracts which will prepare you for a range of entry to junior-level career paths in this growing industry. A paid co-op work term will also provide you with valuable work experience for your resume.

- Graduate ready to complete seven of ten credits toward your Chartered Insurance Professionals (CIP) designation offered by the Insurance Institute of Canada
- Go beyond the fundamentals of insurance and complement your diploma with one of Fanshawe's post-graduate programs (optional)

General requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or a mature applicant with the following courses:
- - Grade 12 English (C or U)
- - Grade 11 Math (C, U or M - minimum of 60%), or Grade 12 Math (C or U)
- Students who do not meet the admission requirements are recommended for academic upgrading. A conditional offer may be possible with proof of enrolment. Alternatively, applicants missing the required courses may want to consider our one-year Business Fundamentals preparatory program. Upon graduation, students can enter level 2 of any business diploma program in the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business.
