In the Civil Engineering Technology (Optional Co-op) programme offered at Conestoga College you will be under the guidance of industry experts and recognized professional organizations who are passionate about their field, have strong ties to the industry and are vested in helping you achieve your career goals.

Key facts

Students will design clean water distribution, wastewater purification, and stormwater management systems; create engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D for civil projects; study the design of roads, highways, and transportation construction management; and more. They will also demonstrate their knowledge of civil engineering through a final capstone project, working directly with industry experts.
Graduates can become Certified Engineering Technologists (CET) through the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT).
