Overview

At Business Administration - Financial Planning from Conestoga College successful students will have the prerequisites to challenge licensing examinations to trade securities, buy and sell mutual funds and sell life insurance in Canada. This progressive course of study combines courses designed at Conestoga with those originating from industry standard setting organizations to prepare students for career opportunities in banking, insurance, private wealth, brokerage and/or independent practice.

Careers

Graduates of the program are qualified to work in a number of positions in the financial services sector. These include banks, trust companies, insurance companies, mutual fund/investment companies, full-service and discount brokerage firms and financial planning firms.
