Overview
Throughout Business - Human Resources Graduate Diploma from Fanshawe College you’ll have completed six of the nine required courses for the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. Graduates who meet admission requirements are also eligible for transfer to the Business Administration - Human Resources Advanced Diploma where they will have the opportunity to achieve the balance of the CHRP/CHRL credits (three additional credits).
Graduates may also have the option to transfer to the Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources Management) Degree at Fanshawe’s Lawrence Kinlin School of Business.

Graduates of Fanshawe's Business – Human Resources program are prepared for a variety of entry-level positions within any organization’s HR department, including HR administration, HR assistant, labour relations assistant, compensation clerk, pension and benefits assistant, payroll clerk, recruiter, training and development assistant.

- Case Worker - collect and evaluate information to determine eligibility for income and employment supports, including Ontario Disability Support Program claims.

General requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or a mature applicant with the following courses
- - Grade 12 English (C or U)
- - Grade 11 Math (C, U or M - minimum of 60%), or Grade 12 Math (C or U)
- Students who do not meet the admission requirements are recommended for academic upgrading. A conditional offer may be possible with proof of enrolment. Alternatively, applicants missing the required courses may want to consider our one-year Business Fundamentals preparatory program. Upon graduation, students can enter level 2 of any business diploma program in the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business.
- Graduates of Business - Human Resources may choose to transfer into Fanshawe's Business Administration - Human Resources Advanced Diploma or Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources Management) Degree program after completing the bridging requirements.
