Through the Business Administration - Accounting  Advanced Diploma from Fanshawe College you'll gain advanced accounting skills with this administration program, you’ll also have the opportunity to apply to further develop your consulting skills with the option of substituting two courses for the intensive community consultancy program, working with live clients to solve real problems. 

Students who have completed the Business Administration - Accounting program of Fanshawe College can continue for a third year to earn this business administration advanced diploma in accounting. This program utilizes a case-based approach across the curriculum to expose students to real-life scenarios to develop critical thinking skills. Many employment opportunities are available in industry, public accounting and government where graduates will work in a variety of roles.

• Accounting Clerk

Maintain and operate company accounting programs including accurately maintaining the accounts payable and receivable ledgers, cheque preparation, deposit preparation and recording, bank reconciliations and other accounting functions.

• Financial Operations Assistant

Ensures effective and efficient control of accounting practices including research and problem solving of discrepancies; and perform administrative support for the accounting division of government or corporate placements.
