Overview

This Building Renovation Technology Advanced Diploma offered by Fanshawe College will prepare students to plan, implement, and lead building and renovation projects and equip them with the skills to manage the technical and business operations related to a range of building projects in the residential and light commercial sectors of the construction industry.

The program will address the changes in the Ontario Building Code, which dramatically increased the requirement for buildings to be sustainable and highly energy efficient.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or a mature applicant with the following course:

- Grade 12 Math (C or U)

- MCT4C is the preferred college math to ensure adequate academic preparation for this program.

Students who do not meet the admission requirements are recommended for academic upgrading. A conditional offer may be possible with proof of enrolment. Alternatively, applicants may choose to do the one-year Pre-Technology preparatory program that provides all the admission requirements for this program.
