- AAA including an acceptable science subject, or A*AA without an acceptable science.
- Required subjects
- Acceptable science A level subjects: biology, chemistry, computer science, economics, geography, geology, life and health sciences, mathematics, marine science, physics, psychology, statistics.
- The now discontinued A level in applied science is also considered an acceptable science - please note this is different to a BTEC applied science qualification.
- Where science A levels have been taken, a pass in the practical element of science subjects is required if assessed separately.
