A-levels/Welsh Baccalaureate: Minimum CCC. Biology or Chemistry is essential. A second relevant subject* is desirable but NOT essential.
- BTEC: Minimum DMM. A strong Biology profile is essential. A good profile in a second relevant subject* is desirable but NOT essential
- Access: Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Irish Leaving Certificate: Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Scottish Highers: Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- IB: Minimum overall score of 26. Higher Level Biology or Chemistry at Grade 4 or above essential. A second relevant subject* at Higher Level Grade 4 or above is desirable but NOT essential.
- As well as one of the above qualification types all applicants are required:
- GCSE: English and Maths minimum Grade C Wales (England Pre-2017) or Grade 4 (England Post-2017)**
