Swansea has a temperate climate, with four distinct seasons, with somewhat mild winters. During summer, average temperatures are around 19 – 20 °C (67- 68 °F) but often reaching to 26 or 27°C (78 – 79 °F). In the winter, temperatures can go down to around 8 – 9 °C (46- 47 °F). Swansea is one of the wettest cities in Britain so often times you will have to carry an umbrella with you.
