Our goal is to establish the Media Technology (Hons) program at University Utara Malaysia (UUM) as a management-oriented programme that can instil knowledge and skills in handling media-related issues and technology.

Students at Media Technology (Hons) program at University Utara Malaysia (UUM) will:

have the expertise to utilise media technology in a balanced and integrated approach in line with the current needs and change.

become skilled graduates in managing media technology efficiently and effectively within the organisation.

be competent, adept, proficient, and possess high media technology management leadership in areas of advertising, journalism, and broadcasting in line with the national aspiration.

Senior High School/Senior Secondary School/Other Certificates from the government schools with the period of at least 11 to 12 years of study from Primary to Higher Secondary (the cetificate is valid for 5 years from the year of Higher Secondary Examination) OR any other certificate that is recognized by the Senate of the university.

Pass the English Language requirement as determinated by the academic programmes.

OR obtain a certificate from any Countries with English Language of instruction in their educational system.

OR any other English Language certificate that is recognized by the Senate of the university.
