Overview

At the Geography and International Relations (joint honours) programme at the Oxford Brookes University University you will be able to choose from a selection of modules from both of these courses to create a programme that is tailor made for you.

In the Geography programme  you will learn how these issues affect everyday lives, be encouraged to discuss them critically, and think about alternative ways of solving problems associated with them.

Our International Relations degree looks at world power relations in their various forms. You will analyse a wide range of sources and gain powerful insight into the world. 

Our course examines some of the critical issues of our modern times including:

• international cooperation and conflict
• the new character of warfare

• the impact of globalisation upon states and societies.
