During the course, you will study organic, inorganic, physical and analytical chemistry while developing strong practical lab skills using our state-of-the-art STEMLab facilities. In addition, you will learn computer programming and explore modern computer-assisted techniques used in contemporary chemical research, supported by our high-quality computer labs.

You will be taught by leading experts from Loughborough’s highly respected departments of Chemistry and Computer Science, many of whom are engaged in research with far-reaching impact. You will also benefit from strong pastoral support and a peer-mentoring scheme.
