International Scholarships

Eligibility

• International applicants are automatically considered for a Loughborough University International Scholarship on the basis of their initial application made through UCAS.
• Successful applicants will be advised if they are being awarded a scholarship soon after they receive their offer communication from the University’s Admissions Office.
• All of Loughborough University's programmes will require AAA from three A levels (or equivalent qualification*) with the exception of the following programmes, which require A*AA: MEng Aeronautical Engineering; MEng Automotive Engineering; MEng Mechanical Engineering; BSc Sport and Exercise Science; and MSci Natural Sciences.
• Only self-funded international applicants selecting Loughborough University as their firm (first) choice through UCAS will be eligible for these scholarships. They are also subject to the academic conditions being met in full and taken in one sitting (no resits).
• If an applicant wishes to defer their application to the next academic year, then the scholarship award will not automatically be deferred. In this situation, the applicant should contact our Global Engagement Team who will confirm whether the scholarship will be available the following year.
• * All school or college based equivalent qualifications to A level are considered. International Foundation Programmes will be considered on a case by case basis.
