On Wednesday, May 6th, the university will open the doors (and windows) of the campuses once again during the Online Open Day. Come along between 12.00 and 13.00 and/or 19.00 and 20.00 (CET). In this International Communication and Media Short Programme at Thomas More , you will take all of the courses in English, together with a group of international students.

You can specialize in one of the two tracks:

Branding & Activation

Public & Corporate Affairs

Each track offers a combination of expert classes, media skills, and real-world pitches in SCRUM teams. During your internship you develop your professional communication skills and acquire job focus.

During this one-year International Communication and Media Short Programme programme at Thomas More you develop, implement and evaluate creative and effective communication strategies. You will do so in heterogeneous, multidisciplinary and international teams.

The first semester consists of 13 course weeks, including a pitch for an international client. You will attend lectures, labs, training sessions and workshops. All of these are taught by professionals, each of them are authorities in their field.

In the second semester you will complete an (international) internship in an international organization or agency abroad or in Belgium.

You will need to prove that you meet the conditions to start an equivalent course programme in higher education in the country where you obtained your diploma. Please note that candidates with a diploma obtained in a non-EEA member state may be set additional requirements. If this is the case our admission services will contact you.

Obtained a Flemish secondary education diploma or a Dutch VWO-diploma, MBO-4 diploma, HAVO +

Passed the ITACE test level B2 (in Antwerp, Leuven, Brussels or Ghent).

Obtained the minimum score on internationally recognised language tests such as Cambridge Assessment English (min 169) , IELTS (min 6.0) , TOEFL (min 79), TOEIC, SAT, Duolingo (min 110).

Obtained an English-language diploma in secondary or higher education from an institution in one of the following countries: United Kingdom, United States of America, New Zealand, Australia, Canada (except Quebec), Ireland, Caribbean islands & South Africa.
