The Film Production degree course offered by Brunel University of London shares a common first year with the Film and Television Studies BA, providing you with an opportunity to study video practice alongside a range of modules that focus upon how screen media have been variously theorised.

In subsequent years, you will have the flexibility to map your own route through the programme, combining practice-based modules with theory-based options in the way that work best for you. With many production modules to choose from, you can make this degree as hands-on as you’d like! In your final year, you will have the option of producing a short film as part of an independent dissertation module.

The Film Production BA is a part of the BAFTA albert education partnership. This accreditation provides students with exclusive access to the industry’s BAFTA albert carbon calculator, a tool used by Netflix, BBC, ITV, Channel 4, UKTV and Sky when producing their content. Participating students will work towards creating environmentally-friendly, sustainable content.

- BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma DMM in any subject.
- BTEC Level 3 Diploma DM in any subject AND an A-Level at grade C.

- International Baccalaureate Diploma 29 points.
- Obtain a minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points in the Access to HE Diploma with 45 credits at Level 3.
