Overview

This course offers placement opportunity (either a short 6-week or a 30-week placement) which you can take anywhere in the world. It will give you practical hands-on experience as well as a fantastic chance to make professional connections. With coaching being such a global industry, you’ll also have the opportunity to study abroad at one of our many partner institutions in Europe and the US.

If the idea of a dissertation at the end of your degree doesn’t appeal, this course is one of very few to offer an alternative – a research expedition where you’ll conduct in-depth research on the needs and responses of people completing a UK-based endurance event.

There are plenty of extra-curricular opportunities too. These include workshops, conferences, industry visits, field trips, volunteering, and guest speakers including people from AFC Bournemouth – with whom we have a partnership that also features exclusive work experience opportunities.
