Overview
This Business Management with Economics and Placement Year (Hons) course at the University of Brighton will develop your analytical and quantitative skills, making you better equipped to analyse market dynamics, anticipate changes and adapt to evolving economic conditions.
You’ll analyse data, conduct research, interpret economic indicators and gain skills in economic modelling, statistical analysis, financial analysis and forecasting. These analytical skills can be applied to many business functions, such as financial planning, market research, investment analysis and strategic decision-making.
You will also have the opportunity to gain valuable industry experience and earn money with an optional placement year.

Accreditation
This course is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute. All students successfully completing a three-year Business Management route, and who have passed the qualifying modules, will have completed the study required for the Chartered Management Institute’s Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership.

- A-levels BBB–BCC.
- BTEC Extended Diploma DMM–MMM.
- International Baccalaureate 26 points, with three subjects at Higher level.
- UCAS tariff 120–104 points.
- Access to HE Diploma Pass with 60 credits overall. At least 45 credits at level 3, with 24 credits at merit.
- T-level Merit in any T-level.
- Foundation degree/HND May enable you to start the course in year 2. Relevant subjects required. HNC may also count towards direct entry.
