Overview
At the Architecture (Hons) degree at University of Greenwich studio-based tutorial groups provide all the skills and knowledge you'll need via a range of approaches to architectural design. You'll learn to use design software and gain visual communication and drawing skills.
You will also study architectural practice, the histories and contemporary theories of architecture alongside sustainability and technology. Successful graduates will gain exemption from the RIBA Part 1 examination.

- Explore our visual and tactile world, learning visual communication and drawing skills and the use of computer software.
- Visits to art galleries, museums, architecture offices and important buildings. We also host lectures by eminent speakers.
- Students have been recognised by prestigious national awards, such as the AJ Student Prize, RIBA student awards and the Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects awards.
Careers
- This course is designed to prepare students for progression into year-out practice in the architectural profession, leading to advanced level study in RIBA/ARB part 2 MArch in Architecture.
- As well as becoming architects, graduates can pursue opportunities in computer-aided design, animation, urban design, interior design, arts and media, project management, graphic design and the construction industry.
