This degree aims to meet the demand from international organisations for graduates with a sophisticated understanding of economic theory.
Our specialised courses will enable you to develop a wide range of practical skills in investigation, information management and presentation. You will gain a solid grounding in economic theory and training in quantitative subjects.
You will also have the opportunity to study in depth a number of problems and issues which have a crucial impact on society, such as unemployment and inflation, poverty and inequality, and international trade and globalisation.
You will have the option to undertake a work placement in your third year, providing insight and practical skills which employers seek in graduates. Previous university students have secured placements at IPAG (Business School, Paris), Computacenter (IT Infrastructure) and Glow Digital Media Limited.
