Overview

The Political Science and International Relations major from Yonsei University intends to train future leaders in various sections of society who have a deeper understanding of the world and a wider perspective on how the world works.

To meet such challenges, they provide a wide range of courses including Political Philosophy, Comparative Politics, International Relations and Korean Politics.

Careers

PSIR graduates have access to a wide variety of opportunities to pursue careers in academia, politics, diplomatic corps, international organizations governmental sectors, corporate firms and media. The UIC PSIR is very proud to produce the very first diplomat serving in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Republic of Korea.

An increasing number of the PSIR graduates are now working in media as journalists, program directors and writers. Also, many continue to pursue postgraduate studies throughout the world.
