With the Financial Services programme from Douglas College earn money and get relevant work experience before you graduate with the optional Co-operative Education Programme.

Complete projects in the modern workplace with the Business Internship Programme.

You will also need work experience in order to complete BUSN 4500, the capstone course in this programme, which requires you to have 500 hours of Canadian work experience. Hours gained through Co-operative Education and volunteer positions may be used to satisfy this component. See Programme Requirements for more details.

This Douglas College Bachelor’s Degree programme is eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), as IRCC confirmed on March 14, 2025, that graduates of bachelor’s degree programmes are not required to meet the field of study requirements to qualify for a PGWP. Please consult the IRCC website for the most up-to-date information.
