Overview

Throughout the (Hons) Education Studies course from the University of West London you will also be well equipped to go on to postgraduate teacher training courses, enabling you to teach in schools, in early years settings or further education institutions. Alternatively, you could choose to train adults in the workplace or teach specialist skills such as sports or languages. 

As well as giving you the skills to work with learners of different age groups, through drawing on the fields of psychology, sociology and history, the course can also lead to further study in these areas. 

Our education studies degree covers a wide range of topics at the forefront of education today, including:

• how digital tools including generative artificial intelligence (AI) are shaping education, and how you can use them to support learning
• inclusive education and how to support diverse learners
• international and comparative education
• leadership and management in education.
