Programme Structure

As a student of the Liberal Arts program, you will complete a minor (18 credits) in each of the two disciplines you choose. One discipline will be in an academic area from the Humanities or Social Science groups. The second discipline will be chosen from the Humanities, Business, Science or Social Science groups.

    The TOEFL iBT ® measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. The test has four sections (reading, listening, speaking, and writing), each with a score range of 0-30, for a total score range of 0-120.

    The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00. General Requirements

It is the responsibility of each applicant to submit directly to the Office of the Registrar:

  • official transcripts from all institutions previously or presently attended, secondary schools, colleges and universities (Applicants who have attended post secondary institutions outside of North America must have their foreign transcripts assessed;
  • proof of name change, if academic documents show a name other than that under which application is made (i.e. marriage registration, notarized statements of legal name change or other legal documents); and,
  • evidence of English language proficiency, if English is not the applicant’s first language.
