Overview

Graduates of the Drama program of Brandon University are ‘performing’ in their chosen careers, whether it be on stage, in classrooms or boardrooms. Drama courses will help you discover your role in the ‘creative’ economy. Any career that requires you to deal with the public, communicate verbally, and respond spontaneously would benefit from a Drama class or two.

Curriculum

The Drama stream of the BA in Creative Arts is composed of 30 credit hours consisting of a variety of courses offered by the Drama Program. A three year minor requires 15 credit hours and a four year minor 18 credit hours. 18 credit hours also qualifies as a ‘teachable’ subject for any future secondary school teachers.

    PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic) is a language test that enables students to demonstrate their writing, listening, speaking, and reading skills when applying to study in English. Delivered and marked by computer, it reports on a scale between 10 and 90.

General Requirements

  • If you have graduated from high school, send an official final transcript showing graduation.
  • If you completed the G.E.D. (Grade 12 Equivalency) send the original transcript.
  • If applicable, English language proficiency test scores must come in a sealed envelope directly from the testing centre, except TOEFL which may also be sent electronically directly through TOEFL (ETS) if preferred.
