Graduates of the Applied Disaster and Emergency Studies program from Brandon University are able to assist with all aspects of emergency management, including traditional preparedness and response activities as well as recovery efforts to help people affected by disasters get their lives back to normal, and mitigation planning to prevent future damages.

Applied Disaster and Emergency Studies adopts a liberal arts and sciences approach to foster an appreciation for the interdisciplinary nature of the field. The ADES curriculum balances theory and practice as well as the social and physical science perspectives. A minor is also available to complement any BA or BSc major.

If you have graduated from high school, send an official final transcript showing graduation. Some countries will have a different document required – please visit the High School Requirements page for specific documents/admission requirements by country.
If you completed the G.E.D. (Grade 12 Equivalency) send the original transcript.
If applicable, English language proficiency test scores must come in a sealed envelope directly from the testing centre, except TOEFL which may also be sent electronically directly through TOEFL (ETS) if preferred.
