Overview

Not only are agriculture graduates in demand to produce food, but also to package and transport it, market it, regulate its production, and finance it. Graduates of the Agribusiness - Agriculture Industry program of Southeast Missouri State University play key roles in monitoring our lakes and streams and planning for the efficient and safe future of our water supply, land, and other natural resources.

What You'll Do

Choose 30 hours of agriculture courses (agriculture, agronomy, animal science, and/or horticulture), in consultation with an advisor, to supplement the agribusiness core courses.

Be prepared for positions in management, sales, marketing, finance, policy, and related areas in the agricultural and food systems.

Be provided with a basis for graduate work leading to graduate studies.

Successful completion of Level 5 of Southeast’s IEP.

English proficiency tests

Diploma from a U.S. high school

Diploma from an international school with U.S. regional accreditation

Diploma from IB curriculum school whose sole medium of instruction is English

Diploma from a non-U.S. high school/secondary education where English language is the sole medium of instruction.

SAT test score of 450 or higher on the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section.

A score of 21 or better Combined English/Writing score on the ACT Plus Writing test

Successful completion of Level 112 in the ELS Language School
