- The Medical Research (Honours) programme is offered by the University of Tasmania .
- As well as the major research project students are required to investigate and make presentations on an area unrelated to their research topic, to provide a broader understanding of important issues in contemporary biomedical research.

Completion of the Bachelor of Medical Research (M3M), or an equivalent degree from another institution completed to a standard of achievement that is deemed acceptable by the College.
- International Applicants must submit evidence of having IELTS (Academic) - 6.5 with no individual band less than 6.0
- Evidence is not required from applicants who have completed the BMedRes at UTAS within the last 5 years
Applicants should note that meeting minimum entrance requirements does not guarantee entry to the Bachelor of Medical Research with Honours.
