The History programme from the University of Roehampton is designed to build on your education by developing you as an individual and supporting your aspirations. You will learn to understand history in different ways, giving you a new perspective and challenging your views.

Develop key critical and analytical skills, and gain the confidence to present your arguments and debate ideas. Studying history in the 21st century requires digital literacies as well as traditional research skills, and at Roehampton you will learn the latest methods for uncovering the past.

  • a pass in one subject at GCE Advanced Level plus (a) passes in two distinct subjects at GCE Advanced Subsidiary Level, or (b) a Vocational A-Level Single Award, or (c) two Vocational A-Level part Awards;
  • a Vocational A-Level Double Award; or
  • a Vocational A-Level Single Award plus (a) two Vocational A-Level part Awards, or (b) passes in two distinct subjects at GCE Advanced Subsidiary Level; or
  • a BTEC National Certificate or Diploma; or
